Temporary card issuance
Applicants can request a Temporary Card, also known as an Interim Card, which is only valid in approved countries (verified by Application Number). Applications must be submitted via the ABTC eLodgment system, with processing taking approximately two weeks. An additional fee of 1,000 Baht is required for the Interim Card,
on top of the standard ABTC card fee of 8,500 Baht.
Virtual ABTC
The Virtual ABTC is an application that replaces the physical ABTC card for travel. It is currently accepted
in 17 economies, including Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. China
will begin accepting it on May 1, 2023. Outside of these regions, the Virtual ABTC may not be valid.
If approval for all 19 economies has not been granted and the applicant wishes to travel to an approved economy,
the Virtual ABTC can be used. Applicants must provide cardholder details (name, surname, Application Number, Email) to activate it. This information should be sent to abtc@jsccib.org before downloading the Mobile Application. Upon first activation, the Virtual ABTC will immediately become valid.

Passport Renewal with a Valid ABTC Card
For ABTC cardholders who need to renew their passport due to expiration, full pages, or damage before their ABTC card expires, the card will become unusable because the passport number no longer matches the one on the ABTC card. Cardholders can apply to update their passport details through the ABTC eLodgment system. The new ABTC card issued will retain the original expiration date.Required Documents:
1. Application Number (If unknown, please contact JSCCIB).
2. National ID number.
3. Company Tax ID number.
4. New Passport Number, Date of Issuance, and Expiration Date.
5. File of the new passport. A scanned Copy of New Passport
6. A scanned Copy of the ABTC card.
7. Fee of 1,000 baht.

Name or Surname Change
If you change your name or surname, you must submit supporting documents online as if you are applying
for a new ABTC card. The approval process takes approximately four months.
Lost Card
If your ABTC card is lost, submit a lost card report through the ABTC eLodgment system. Required documents include:
1. Application Number (contact JSCCIB if unknown).
2. National ID number.
3. Company Tax ID number.
4. Police Report with name, ABTC card number, passport number, and expiration date
5. Fee: 1,000 baht

To apply for an Interim Card, submit your request exclusively through www.abtc-jsccib.org. Interim Cardholders
can use the APEC Lane at airports even without pre-clearance from the specific economy but must obtain
the appropriate visa before entering.
Important Notice
The ABTC functions as a visa, granting the cardholder a multiple-entry business visa for the economies listed
on the back of the card. Therefore, cardholders do not need to apply for a visa when traveling to these economies. However, they must use the ABTC in conjunction with the passport used during the ABTC application.
