Who is eligible to apply for an ABTC card?
Qualifications for ABTC applicants
- The applicant's company must be a member of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, The commerce,
or a Trade Association that is a member of The Federation of Thai Industries.
- The applicant's company must not have any unpaid membership fees to The Thai Chamber of Commerce
or Board of Trade of Thailand. (If there are unpaid Board of Trade of Thailand, The Provincial Chamber
of Commerce, a Foreign Chamber of Membership fees during the validity period of the APEC card, it will result in disqualification from future consideration.)
- The business has been in operation continuously for a period of not less than 3 years, In case of a company transformation, the registration number must remain the same.
- Must be a Thai businessman aged 25 years or older. Foreign nationals must hold Thai nationality.
- Must be an entrepreneur, business owner, director, shareholder, or senior executive of a business legally registered in Thailand. For the positions of manager or consultant, a minimum salary of 50,000 baht is required.
