สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าภาคการส่งออกของไทยยังมีศักยภาพและสามารถแข่งขันในตลาดโลกได้ แม้เศรษฐกิจโลกยังเผชิญความไม่แน่นอนจากปัจจัยด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ สงครามการค้า และการเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบายการค้าของประเทศมหาอำนาจ โดยครึ่งปีแรกของปี 2569 การส่งออกไทยยังขยายตัวได้ 17.6%\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>ดร.พจน์ กล่าวว่า แม้ว่าการนำเข้าจะขยายตัวสูงกว่าการส่งออก ส่งผลให้ไทยขาดดุลการค้าในช่วงครึ่งปีแรก Consumer goods account for only about 9% of total imports.\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>Imports showing particularly strong growth include electronic components, printed circuit boards, electrical machinery, industrial machinery, and manufacturing inputs. These figures indicate that the increase in imports is largely associated with business investment, production capacity expansion, and the procurement of raw materials to support future manufacturing and exports, rather than increased consumer spending.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>On the export side, growth has been broadly diversified across both established and emerging markets. Exports to the United States continued to expand strongly, while ASEAN, Japan, and the European Union also recorded satisfactory growth. Emerging markets including Australia, Latin America, and South Asia continued to show positive momentum, reflecting the ability of Thai businesses to diversify market risks and adapt to global economic volatility.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Thailand’s export structure has also been increasingly supported by industrial and technology-based products, including computers and components, electrical appliances, machinery, and electronic products. However, what the data truly reflects in the long term is Thailand’s structural economic transformation in export markets, product composition, and investment. The real challenge is not merely restoring a trade surplus, but strengthening Thailand’s long-term competitiveness,\" Dr. Poj said.\u003Cbr>\u003Cbr>He added that, as the global economy undergoes structural change, Thailand should strengthen its competitive advantage through integrated trade, investment, and industrial policies.
